Camp Summary

Roberto Clemente Softball camp is proud to be holding their first Softball Camp. This is an all-around skills camp that will cover every aspect of the game of softball. Pitching mechanics, Hitting fundamentals, position play and base running will all be covered.

Detailed Camp Description

This camp is designed for players aged 9-12 and will be divided into age and ability levels.
Camp times are 9:00am to 3:00pm each day with an hour lunch break.

This is what you can expect to work on while at camp:

       Windmill Pitching mechanics

       Hitting fundamentals

       Infield play

       Outfield play

       Catcher skills

       Base running

         Games and contests

Instructors

Nelson Estremera – Coach, Former Player and Jersey City Firefighter

Former and current Clemente athletes/coaches will also be volunteering their services who have played the game up to semi professional ball.

Meals at Camp

The $5 a day will cover lunch and beverages throughout the day provided by E & L Downtown Deli.

Softball Items to Bring to Camp

       Softball or other athletic clothing

       Ball cap or visor

       Glove

       Bat & batting gloves if you have one

       Helmet if you have one

       Cleats

       Water bottle

Check-In Location & Instructions

Players should check in approximately 15-30 minutes prior to each session.

Whether you are a first-time softball player in need of the basics of pitching and hitting; or you are an elite athlete preparing for the tough circuit, Roberto Clemente Softball Camp offers instruction for all levels of play - from the short game to the long ball, from mental toughness to conditioning.
